The leader of the Heaven’s Gate Ministries, Prophet Nicholas Osei popularly known as Kumchacha, has said that he would take Patapaa’s ‘One Corner’ song to court.
According to him, the song is destroying the moral fiber of society by promoting promiscuity among both young and old.
In an interview with Kofi Adoma on Kofi TV, he intimated that he would make sure he ‘drags’ the ‘One Corner’ song to court so an injunction is placed on it.
“We should ban the song. I am going to court to place an injunction on it so that anyone who plays it, is taken to court,” the Prophet Kumchacha.
“I will not entertain such stupid songs; a song that is corrupting morals. Look at what happened to the Ahmadiyya students who danced to the song in the classroom,” he added.
He also stated that in the past, there were a lot of songs that were edifying but today both young and old people are engaging in immoral things and enjoy evil songs.
The ‘One Corner’ song which comes with its dance, became popular after it was performed at Agona Swedru Akwambo Festival. In the dance, one is seen gyrating in gutters, under parked cars and corners of building blocks.
The dance of the song has received a lot of flak from people like gospel artiste Sonnie Badu and Kwasi Kyei Darkwah.
