Undefeated Ghanaian boxer, Braimah Kamoko, popularly known as Bukom Banku, and his opponent, Bastie Samir, made their first public appearance and thrilled fans on Sunday evening, ahead of the much anticipated bout between the two boxers at the Bukom Boxing Arena, Accra, on October 21, 2017.
Banku, undefeated in 29 fights and knocking out 22 opponents in the process, is expected to lock horns with Bastie(15 KOs,1D) in a 12-round non-title cruiserweight championship dream fight dubbed: ‘Make or Break.’
The bout is being put together by Box Office Promotions.
The opening event of the public appearance at the West Hills Mall was so spectacular that onlookers at the event wondered if they were about to experience the Ghanaian rendition of the Floyd Mayweather verses McGregor fight build-up in Accra.
Bukom Banku arrived at the venue with his highly motivated fans to entertain spectators and invite them to watch another history in the making at the Bukom Boxing Arena.
Bastie on the other hand joked about Banku’s style of fighting and claimed that he will cause the first defeat of Banku.
Banku and Bastie took the opportunity to take swipes at each other with their new hilarious teasing songs. The audience could not hold back their laughter and even joined in the dancing.
Although the two boxers agreed to get a reward of GHC100,000 cedis each whether win or lose, Bukom Banku challenged his opponent to a winner takes all contest.
The next public appearance of Bukom Banku and Bastie Samir would be at the Accra Mall on Saturday, 14th October, 2017.
