Member of Parliament (MP) for Wa East constituency in the Upper West Region, Mr Godfrey Tangu Bayon, has denied reports circulating on some social media platforms that he is dead.
Mr. Bayon, who spoke in a telephone interview with Today yesterday, rubbished the rumour that he is dead.
There were reports circulating on social media yesterday morning claiming that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) law-maker had died after battling a short illness.
When quizzed if he was battling with any live-threatening illness, the Wa East lawmaker laughed, saying “I’m fit as fiddle.”
“My brother I’m not suffering from any ailment let only being dead,” he stressed.
…As we speak now I’m on my way to Parliament from his constituency,” he stated.
