A forty-year-old businessman, Issah Braimbilla has declared his intention to contest the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Yagba/Kubori Constituency chairmanship position in the Northern Region.
According to him, his bid to contest the position was based on four thematic areas, which include Unity, Team Work, Accessibility and Electoral Victory.
At a media briefing in Tamale last Monday, Mr Braimbilla said under his chairmanship, the Constituency would not become a prey to any political party as the concept of unity connotes harmony of ideas and shared beliefs.
“As a unifier my credo would be to endear energies to dissolve the potential tensions within the Yagba/Kubori constituency and extend a hand to all whose interest in the party had waned, to restore their confidence and build a vanguard of young party enthusiasts,” he stated.
He said with team work, the NPP supporters would easily collaborate, coordinate and ultimately succeed as a party.

Mr Braimbilla explained that  the major challenge facing the constituency is access to information, which he maintained nearly, ruined the confidence  foot soldiers had in the leadership.
He said the NPP needs to build strong internal structures that would help fulfill its mission to enable it to win the 2020 election and beyond, which calls for all hands on deck.
