This year’s Chale Wote came to a close on Sunday, August 20, 2017 after another successful and colourful 7-day run.
The festival saw the display of art works and other great unveiling as many enjoyed the display.
Although most of the exciting action happens before the sun goes down, a great number of revellers also followed the fun into the night.
Chale Wote also witnessed performances from uprising artistes on the night on Saturday as they made sure they thrilled fans.
B4Bonah, Kwesi Arthur, and Fifi XLNC rocked the night with their dazzling performance on the night.
Aside from music performances display of arts was showcased as Ghanaian and witnessed another mind-blowing sports game known in James Town community as Boxing.
Young children at the ages of 10 years to 20 years fixed their gloves as they threw punches at each other on the day.
However, many took to their social media platforms and described this year’s Chale Wote festival as nothing to write home about.
Some were of the view that, the festival saw many vendors selling alcoholic beverages and more mini drinking spots, which did not depict the main occasion.
Others also acknowledged the organisers for putting such a wonderful programme and hoped to see better ahead of the years.
