Central Regional representative in this year’s Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB) pageant (GMB), Baaba, on Sunday, October 15, 2017 emerged the Star Performer on the night, bringing to an end Brong Ahafo’s Adom’s reign as the Star Performer for three consecutive times.
Baaba, who performed as a radio show guest on Accra-based Onua FM, exhibited maturity, analysing Ghana’s media vis-à-vis religion as the topic, hence being judged the Star Performer on the night.
She also won the Best Costume and the Most Disciplined contestant awards.
Adom, who was stripped of her Star Performer title on the other hand appeared on 3FM’s late edition show, as a political activist, aspiring to become the first female President of Ghana.
She discussed Ghana’s media in relation to women in politics.
Although the judges marked her performance and content as good, it did not earn her award this week.
