Group calls on Palestine Ambassador

EXECUTIVES and some members of the Tudubobli Dagomba Chiefs Association of Ghana have paid a courtesy call on the Palestine Ambassador to Ghana, His Excellency  (H.E.) Mr. Abdal Fatah A.K. Albattari, at his residence in Accra.

The visit, according to the Chairman of the Association, who also doubles as the Kasoa Dagomba Chief, Abdalah Amidu, was to solidarise with the ambassador and the people of Palestine for the recent attacks suffered at the hands of Israeli military.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Today after the visit on Tuesday, August 22, 2017, Chief Amidu explained that as Muslims: “We feel worried about the continuous escalation of violence between militants in the Gaza Strip and the Israeli military which had claimed thousands of innocent souls.

“We [the executives and some members of the association] are here today to lend our support to our Palestinian brothers and sisters.

The group also assured him of their unflinching support in their quest to seek peace and justice in the Middle East.

According to him, the visit also afforded them the opportunity to discuss other issues of the association and the country as a whole.

“This is not going to be a one-off thing, because we are ready to take this relationship far,” Chief Amidu assured.

 

Mr. Albattari was also full of praise for the association’s show of support and brotherliness to the good people of Palestine.
