Rapper, Sarkodie, has added another award to his trophy-laden cabinet by emerging as the ‘Best African Artiste’ at the 2017 daf BAMA Music Awards.
His latest accolade was announced on Sunday, November 17, 2017 at an event held at the BarclayCard Arena, Hamburg, Germany.
He beat fellow Ghanaian, Stonebwoy, and four Nigerian artistes—Wizkid, P-Square, Yemi Alade and Tiwa Savage to win the award.
The daf BAMA award is an international multi-cultural music award show created to honour artists from across the world.
It is aimed at promoting creativity, unity and enjoyment amongst global music lovers. Powered by Hamburg-based, Daf Entertainment, the awards scheme has been in existence since 2008.
Sarkodie’s feat confirms him as the most successful Ghanaian artiste in terms of awards.
