Today newspaper, a member of GN Media on Friday, 24th November, 2017 mourned with Multimedia Group, following the passing of their ace broadcaster Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong, popularly known as KABA.
Led by General Manager (GM) of Today, Madam Vicky Wireko-Andoh and Editor, Dennis Ato Keelson, the team commiserated with the bereaved family of KABA, particularly to his wife, Valentina, their 7-month-old daughter, and the entire Multimedia Group.
According to GM of Today, “we are also bereaved as we are all in the media fraternity. We want to assure Multimedia of our unflinching support and prayers through these difficult moments. KABA was an exceptional journalist and we will surely miss him.”
She went on to assure Multimedia of Today’s support before, during and after the funeral of late KABA.
The Editor of the newspaper, Mr Keelson, also extended his condolence to the group and the bereaved family.
“The media fraternity has lost a real gem. KABA was professional with his work and this made his show the most-listened to political programme in the country. He was very ethical. He will surely be missed. May God grant him eternal rest,” Mr Keelson sadly expressed.
KABA died on Saturday, 18th November, 2017. He was the host of the political talk show, Ekosii Sen on Asempa FM, one of the six radio stations owned by Multimedia Group.
