Former AshantiGold head coach Bashir Hayford has signed a one-year deal to take charge of Ghana Premier League side, Ebusua Dwarfs.
Hayford resigned from AshGold in March 2017, 18 months after leading the Miners to the Ghana Premier League title in 2015.
Dwarfs recently parted ways with their Brazilian trainer, Ricardo Da Rocha, after the Brazilian led the Abontoa Abontoa lads to a 3rd place finish in the just ended 2016/2017 GHPL season.
“I have signed a one-year deal with Ebusua Dwarfs and I will start work with my new club next month, I’m happy to return to the dugout again and I hope to make Dwarfs one of the best clubs in the country,” ” Hayford confirmed to Kumasi-based Fox FM.
Hayford had previously coached Power FC, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Kessben FC (now Medeama), Heart of Lions, and the Ghana U-20 women’s team.
