Management and Staff of Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL) said there would be adequate water supply before, during and after the yuletide.
A statement signed and issued to the media yesterday in Accra, Communications Manager of GWCL, Mr. Stanley Martey wished its cherished customers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
“In our bid to continually serve you to the best of our ability, we wish to inform you all that our revenue collection centres, district offices and production plants will be working as usual during the festive period,” it added.
According to the statement, customers were also being reminded that the revenue mobilisation exercise was ongoing.
As a result, it noted that the special disconnection teams, with the mandate to do on-the-spot disconnections of water services to defaulting customers, are still visiting the premises of customers who have failed to settle their bills in full.
The statement stressed that all persons found to have engaged in any anti-social malpractices against the company will be handed over to the law enforcement agencies for prosecution.
The GWCL in the statement called on the customers to endeavour and pay their bills promptly to enable GWCL serve them better.
