The 11th edition of Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB) pageant took off last Sunday at the premises of TV3 in Accra with live performances from the ten ladies representing the 10 regions of Ghana.
The pageant, which is a 13-week journey, will see one of them emerging as the proud winner of GMB 2017.
The ladies, one after the other gave presentations on the rich culture of their respective regions, and what should be expected of them during the period.
Judges on the night, Oscar Provencal and Mrs. Linda Ampah rated the performance of the ladies ‘okay.’
However, they pardoned them for the mistakes they made.
According to Linda, “It is not easy being on the stage. ‘You’re in this competition to represent not only TV3 but to represent Ghana. You’re here to sell Ghana. You need to come along with something extra…we want the wow factor,” she added.
She advised the ladies to read well so as to understand the scripts they will present to the audience.
Additionally, she urged them to use the platform to educate, entertain, learn and above all improve upon their performances so as to become useful to the Ghana after leaving the reality show house.
