Controversial Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale last Saturday won the ultimate award at the second edition of People’s Celebrity Awards(PCA) held at the Accra International Conference [AICC] in Accra.
The award scheme seeks to reward players and stakeholders in the entertainment industry for their immense contribution.
The night witnessed performances from Ebony, Osadji, Teephlow, Gifty Osei, among others.
A category of the awards scheme christened, ‘People Celebrity Lifetime Achievement’ award went to veteran actor Mr. Atta Mensah of Ga Drama fame.
In all Shatta Wale and Fancy Gadam topped the night with two awards each to their credit, while dancehall diva, Ebony won the Favorite Female Musician award.
Speaking at the event, the Chief Executive Officer of Spyderlee Entertainment, organisers of the programme, Dr. Nana Kweku Nduom thanked the board and the staff of his outfit for making the second edition of the PCA a reality.
Announcing the winner on the night, Dr. Kweku Nduom said, “ People’s Celebrity Awards is here to stay and will continue to support the entertainment industry”.
Shatta Wale drove home Dodge Sedan 2017 model vehicle as his prize.
Receiving the award, he thanked the organisers, and promised “to do more this year”.

Male TV presenter of the year: Dan Kweku Yeboah.
Favorite female musician: Ebony.
