These trends have not totally left us in the new year since fashion lovers are, and will still continue to have feel of them however, they are new trends that we expect to see in this new year ranging from street styles to Ankara and African print styles as well as corporate and casual ones.

We have come up with a few trends which will probably take over the year after combing through a list of designs by our designers and celebrities across the country.

The pencil skirts and dresses, pleated coloured skirts, pretty straight dresses and Ankara off- shoulder tops made the list which is not exhaustive since we are expecting fashion in this year to take on a whole new level to include the wearing of berets, slide slit dresses, wide leg trousers and pure cotton jeans.
