Silky songstress, born Rebecca Acheampong, popularly known as Becca, has celebrated her birthday
The songstress who turned 33 on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 decided to celebrate with traders at Rawlings Park in Accra.
In an interview with the singer on why she chose to have her birthday celebration at the Rawlings Park, she revealed that “some of the people who actually take money out to buy her records, CDs and dance to her music are not being reached and these are people on the street, people in the grassroots.”
“Birthdays are special and being in the industry for 10 years,” the multiple award-winning songstress realised it was time to show love to the people on the street and reach out to them.
As part of the celebrations, Becca shared food, drinks and pastries to the traders and kayayei (women head porters) at Makola Rawlings Park.
Becca is now signed onto Zylofon Music on a 3-year contract where the label will produce, promote and market her music.
Becca is out with her third studio album, dubbed: ‘Unveiling,’ a 13-track album which featured Bisa KDei, Patoranking, Kofi Kinaata, Mr. Eazi and Stonebwoy.
