Elmina Sharks have dedicated their team to God after receiving a state-of- the-art bus from their life Patron, Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom.
Right Reverend Father Coffie, who prayed and asked God, ‘to bless Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom and the team’, dedicated the 48-seater Hyundai bus to God. He used the opportunity to entreat the players and the management to reciprocate Dr Nduom’s gesture by competing fairly in all competitions to bring smiles to the people who support the team.
Reverend Father Coffie said he has come to like the Elmina based club and hoped the bus will improve the team’s results on the pitch as they prepare for their second season in Ghana’s elite football competition.
As part of the preparation for the 2017/2018 league season, Elmina Sharks will participate in a two-day Gala competition slated for 2nd and 3rd February, sanctioned by GHALCA and the GFA before commencing their league campaign with an away trip to returnees, Dreams FC, on February 10, 2018.
Administrative Secretary of the club, Kelvin Aboagye Yeboah, thanked Dr Nduom for the bus. He said the bus has come to alleviate their transportation challenges and promised that the management will take very good care of the bus.
