Accra Central District Police are looking for a man who they say has been charged with stealing a whopping amount of ninety thousand, three hundred and five Ghana Cedis (GHC90,305.00) from his shop owner at Abossey Okai, Accra.
The police, following a warrant issued by the Magistrate Court Adjabeng in Accra for his arrest, are seeking the suspect, Francis Addae.
Police said the crime happened in October last year.
According to Chief Inspector Richard Akorli of Accra Central District Criminal Investigation Department, Francis Addae, who was a Shop Assistant at Abossey Okai, allegedly stole GHC90,305,00 from his shop owner, Mark Odame, and has since gone into hiding.
Police described the suspect, who is a native of Nsawam, Eastern Region, as middle built, black in colour with black eyes and brown ears.
He was last seen at Lumnava, Accra, wearing jeans trousers with a white top.
To this end, the Accra Central District Police asked the public to call Chief Inspector Richard Akorli on 0244599864 or police hotlines: 191 and 18999 with information about the suspect.
The police also stated that callers can remain anonymous.
