Fine actor Van Vicker has given thumbs up to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for fulfilling its campaign promise of providing Free Senior High School education.
The actor believes that the initiative is a worthy one and President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has to be applauded.
The Free SHS policy, which was a pivotal part of the NPP’s campaign, kicked off across the country on Monday, September 11.
The policy covers the full tuition of students. Parents and guardians will no longer pay for fees such as admission and examination. They will be given free uniforms, free meals, free textbooks amongst others.
In a post on Instagram, Van Vicker said; “I have a tremendous air of expectancy. I support FREE SHS, it’s a worthy cause. An ace effort for mother Ghana. #thebiggerpicture #Ghana#vanvicker #ygf”
He posted a photo of his wife, Adjoa Vicker holding a placard with the inscription; “FREE SHS IS HERE” to go with the post.
