Ghana international, Kevin-Prince Boateng, could be making a shock return to Spanish side, Las Palmas, in the immediate future as revealed in a contract he signed with the Liga side.

The former AC Milan attacking midfielder traded Las Palmas for Eintracht Frankfurt in a shocking move, citing family ties as the main reason.

The German-born Ghana international could however, head straight back to Spain in the immediate future per a publication on Las Palmas’ official portal.

The Ghana international reportedly agreed to play ambassadorial role for Las Palmas despite heading to the German Bundesliga at the start of the 2017/18 season.

La Palmas President, Miguel Ángel Ramírez, explained in Canarias Radio that he has a good relationship with Kevin-Prince Boateng, of which he is sure to play again at UD Las Palmas, although he does not know when.

On his relationship with Boateng, Mr. Ramírez explained that “Prince did me a great favour, which was to choose the UD Las Palmas when he had more important offers than we offered him. He gave me his word and fulfilled it. Then renewed before the end of the season”.

“He will come when he believes, we will always make him hollow because he is a boy who gave himself and made his best season here. He has a bond with the island and everyone loves him. ”

On the ambassadorial role, he disclosed that “we turned to Prince to talk to these players so they could come to UD Las Palmas. He now has a clause in which he can detach himself from his team whenever he wants,” a statement on Las Palmas official portal reads.
