Ghanaian Political Analyst based in California in the United States of America (USA), Mr. Kwadwo Sarfo Kantanka has called on Ghanaians to disregard a video posted on social media platforms by one Mr.Kelven Taylor, an activist of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

In one of his comedy video series called “with all due respect”, Mr Taylor, has raised another devilish attacks on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Minister for Trade and Industry, Mr. Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.

In a statement signed and issued by Mr. Kantanka and copied to Today in Accra yesterday, he called on Ghanaians to disregard the unguided statement meted out to top NPP officials and President Akuf-Addo by Mr. Taylor.

“I trust the recent outburst of Mr Taylor is no news to us Ghanaians and especially members of NPP. This NDC comedian is only continuing what his pay masters have begun long ago.

“They keep on pitching Alan and Akufo Addo against each other on one front, and on another front they put Alan and Akufo Addo together and lambast them.

“I believe by now former President John Dramani Mahama and NDC are beginning to realize that their propaganda has only been a failure, just as they may be in the 2020 elections if they don’t learn their lessons,’ he said.

According to Mr Kantanka, history gives a clear verdict that in the Busia-Danquah -Dombo tradition, sitting President is never contested in primaries, adding that President Akufo Addo will be treated same as former President John Agyekum Kufour was treated.

He stated that Mr Alan Kyerematen knows and accepts this convention wholeheartedly, adding that “Alan has no plans to contest Nana Addo as president. Gone are the days the NPP members and a section of the party became furious because NDC had fuelled a non-existent and so-called “agenda 2020,”

He indicated that in his recent probing and analysis, it has become clear that such old fashion propaganda will not wash.

He said members of the ruling NPP no longer believe the so-called “agenda 2012, agenda 2016 and now agenda 2020”.

Before 2016 elections, according to him, the NDC claimed Mr Alan Kyerematen did not want President Akuf-Addo to become president, and to their shame Mr Alan Kyerematen led the 2016 campaign that made Nana Addo the President of the Republic of Ghana.

“Now, I know my readers are wondering why NDC and their propagandists have taken this turn. This is my answer: the tension and acrimony associated with their struggle for NDC presidential primaries is begging louder for equalization.

“They are tormented by the fact that Mahama, Bagbin, Spio, Sylvester, Atubiga and Kwasi Botwe are insulting one another and deepening divisions in the NDC every minute. Hence, they tickle themselves and laugh that they have partner in their eminent fall, they do not even know that they are falling alone,” he noted.

He is therefore advising the NDC to call former President Mahama to rescind his decision to contest the presidential race of the NDC.

The Political Analyst  also entreated Mr Kelvin Taylor not to allow love for money to ruin his talent and potential as a young and upcoming comedian.

He stressed the need for Ghanaians to “name and shame lies and evil mindedness in politics as that remains our godly call to sanitize national discourse.”
